Season VIII Company Auditions
Our dance Company is a fully pre-professional competitive program offering the highest level of dance for ages 6-18. Interested in joining the team? Season VIII Company
Company is what we call our competition team. Our team competes at regional dance competitions and conventions.
Dancing on Company means that you are committed to working hard and giving it your all, in class and on stage. We place work ethic, commitment, and attitude above all else. It’s not about winning. No matter what score the judges give you, if you can walk off stage and say you did your best, you’ve already won.
Company dancers are role models for all other dancers at the studio. They do not give up in class. They do not come to the studio with bad attitudes. They support and encourage all other dancers to do their best. If another Company member is on stage, you are in the audience cheering them on.
We hold our Company dancers to a higher standard. This standard transcends the studio and the stage. It becomes a skill that dancers keep with them throughout life. Elevate is not just our name, it’s our guiding principle.
Audition Information
All dancers auditioning for Musical Theater, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical and/or Open are required to attend both the Jazz and Ballet Evaluations for Fall class placement. There is no fee for evaluations.
IMPORTANT: In addition to filling out the AUDITION COMMITMENT FORM below, you must register and enroll in the styles that you are auditioning for. Select the session Company Auditions 2025, select the style(s) that you are auditioning for, and enroll in the class(es). There is a $25 non-refundable audition fee per style. We have grouped styles into three sections; Jazz/Musical Theater, Tap, and Contemporary/Open/Lyrical. When signing up on the Parent Portal (filter by Session: Company Auditions 2025 when enrolling). There is no additional fee for “technique” evaluations for auditions. You can register in the top right hand corner of our website if you don’t already have access to the Parent Portal.
Company Audition Prep Week is NOT required to audition, however it’s highly encouraged. It's a great option to help those who might need a little extra time learning choreography, to receive helpful technique tips, or to get seen before auditions. If you do register for Prep Week, be sure to register for the same age group as the one you are auditioning for.
Dancers may be asked to come back for a higher age group.
Dancers are to wear form-fitted dance attire and the appropriate dance shoes for each style they are auditioning for. If your dancer has long hair, please make sure that it is pulled back and out of their face.
Please have your dancer pack water and snacks for the day. It will be a long day of dancing.

Audition Commitment Form
This form needs to be filled out prior to attending auditions, or prior to attending audition prep week, whichever comes first for your dancer. Students who do not have a form filled out will not be able to audition. Please read the question descriptions carefully, thank you.
