Sydney is from Canby, Oregon and started dancing at the age of 3. She began her pre-professional training at The Portland Ballet, under the direction of Nancy Davis. She has attended summer programs at Pacific Northwest Ballet, Boston Ballet, Oregon Ballet Theatre and Ballet Austin. Sydney trained under the direction of Gen Horiuchi at St Louis Ballet for the 2022-2023 season where she performed roles with the company in Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Moment, Shh... and The Amber Room, performing both corps and soloist roles. Sydney began her professional career at Lexington Ballet Company for 2 seasons in 2023-2025, performing in Ayako Hasebe-Lloyd’s, The Nutcracker, A Mother’s Love, and Romeo and Juliet, performing both principal and featured roles. Also including, The Dying Swan and new works, Don’t You Weep, Symphonic Stroll and First Sight.
Sydney received her associate’s degree “Magna Cum Laude” in 2023, in Early Childhood Education. Sydney taught ballet for 2 seasons in 2023-2025 at Lexington Ballet Company, BASD and Tippi Toes; ages 3-18 and adult. Sydney moved back to Oregon in 2025 and is currently teaching ballet at Metro Dance Academy; ages 3-18, and Elevate Dance Academy; tiny dancers. Sydney received her training in STOTTS Pilates at Pacific NW Pilates in 2025. She has been an instructor at LA Fitness Reformer Pilates since December 2025. Sydney is currently dancing professionally for the Salem Capitals Cherry Blossoms. Sydney has a passion and love for ballet that she is excited to share with the next generation of dancers!
